Meet Liv Friberg
the International Midwife in Copenhagen
Make sure you and your partner have the same birth preparation as your Danish colleagues.
Looking for that guiding, helping hand
in the biggest transition you will ever make?
To me, creating a baby is a miracle! The physical and emotional changes are powerful, and they demand a great deal of letting go of control, preparing and searching information, selecting and making choices.
At every birth, not only the baby is born, but its parents transition into parenthood. In this process, I see myself as your go-to specialist, for advice and information, networking and development.
You are fully in charge of your own process and choices surrounding your pregnancy – and I can provide you with the relevant information, for you to make the best choice for your family.

I am a mother of three, a midwife for the past 9 years, a breastfeeding counsellor, a massage therapist and I hold a Master's degree in Philosophy and Gender Studies.
I bring all that knowledge together and combine it with a handful of languages and my experience from the Danish healthcare system to guide you towards creating the best fertility, pregnancy, birth and post-natal experience for you.

No matter if your preferred language is Danish, English, Swedish, German or French, my services can be used as a supplement to public prenatal care, so you feel well-informed and well-prepared for the adventures ahead of you.

Network in your own language, sharing experiences of motherhood with other women in the same situation.
Professional support from Day 1 in your pregnancy.
Respectful of your schedule.
"All breast feeding women should get this kind of support...thank you Liv for helping me give my child the best start in life."

NANNA JENSEN
"I gave birth without pain relief, because I felt like I didn't need it. That was thanks to the massage techniques that my husband had learnt from Liv."
