Preconceptional consultations

Many questions can arise when considering creating a family: am I ready? Are we as a couple ready? What can we expect? How do we prepare for a pregnancy? And how do we optimize our chances of success? During a preconceptional consultation, I am at your disposal for discussing both the emotional and physical demands of pregnancy, creating the best possible start for a healthy pregnancy and a happy time for both partners.

The preconceptional consultation is usually 1 hour, and it does normally not include any physical examination.

Fertility consultation

Is your wish for a baby taking longer than you expected? Are you worried it might be difficult? Or are you in doubt of the best way of creating a family for you?

I can advise you on fertility and fertility treatment, what possibilities you have, and which you haven’t in Denmark. This consultation prepares you for receiving help for conceiving, and to discuss, if and when this is necessary. The fertility consultation will be an informative meeting and dialogue. However, I do not give absolute advice on which treatment you ought to/will receive.

Let’s be honest: Worrying about if the dream will come true is difficult and stressful. Considering alternative methods like fertility treatment is scary. Everyone has their own wishes, limits and expectations. In my experience, making that telephone call to start such a process is a very difficult thing. Having a peaceful consultation with me, e.g. in your home, having a lot of time and no pressure, can help you to unravel your own feelings, willingness and readiness for the next step. If you take that next step, you will be well prepared, and have my number for future support!
